• sworn translator (Dutch⇒ Spanish), recognised as such at the Official Register of Sworn Translators of the Netherlands (Rbtv)
• recognised as literary translator Dutch⇒ Spanish by the Dutch Foundation for Literature (Letterenfonds)
• member of the Netherlands Association of Interpreters and Translators (NGTV) for the language combinations Dutch⇒ Spanish and English⇒ Spanish
• teacher of Spanish as a foreign language at Instituto Cervantes in Utrecht since 2008
• telecommunications engineering degree at Universidade de Vigo (although this somehow feels as if it belongs to a former life)
